Income replacement benefits (IRBs”) are payable under Ontario’s legislated statutory accident benefits regime (“SABS”). It provides injured plaintiffs with a basic level of weekly income after their accident if they are either unable to work or are forced to work at a reduced capacity. We calculate IRBs for both employed and self-employed individuals, integrating our calculations with the relevant provisions of the SABS, and where requested we can also provide calculations of interest on overdue benefits where the insurer has refused to pay benefits as set out in the SABS.

 

Our fees for these services are capped at the $2,500 limit as allotted under the SABS and we also do the administrative work of billing the insurer directly.
